Element Entries Created By Retropay Process Do Not Have The 'Rate' Input Value Populated For Canada (Doc ID 2735285.1)

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1.3 and later

Symptoms

Both US and Canadian (CA) Payroll is implemented and Retropay (Enhanced) is configured the same for each.

In the US, when Retropay is run, it creates retro salary elements. Those elements have the rate input value populated.

In CA, with the same setup, retro elements get created successfully, but the rate input value in the retro element is empty.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter hours for employees in both US and Canadian payrolls
2. Run Retropay (Enhanced) for US and Canadian payrolls
3. Check results and find that the US retro elements have the rate input value populated, but CA retro entries do not
