Symptoms
Problem Statement:
The Legal Employer error message is not being raised on Assignment screen, as expected, but is being raised on Person screen
APP-PAY-34024 You Must Enter A Legal Employer For This Assignment
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- (N) KW HRMS Manager responsibility -> People -> Enter and Maintain
- (B) Assignment -> Employment details Tab -> Legal Employer field is mandatory (DO NOT add any value)
- Update Payroll field -> Save -> Close Assignment form -> Press Save on People screen -> Error is encountered
