FOR CLOSED SALES ORDER, LAST_UPDATE_DATE IS CHANGED UPON MAKING UPDATES, REVERT AND SAVE
(Doc ID 2736065.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 18, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Order Management - Version 12.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In the sales order form, if users update or remove something at the Sales Order line level or line level Descriptive Flex Field (DFF) against a Closed Sales Order Line, then the note "You are not allowed to update Order Line because: Order line has been closed" is displayed. If user reverts the changes to the original value and saves, then the application displays the Saved message and when clicking on Help -> Examine, the last_updated_date is changed to the current date. Is this the expected behavior?
