Goal
Is it possible to hold a Customer EORI number in Oracle for export customers Post Brexit ??
An EORI is an Economic Operator Registration and Identification Number. These numbers are part of a system introduced in 2009.
The Number in the UK is based on the VAT number with a country prefix GB and 000 at the end. From Jan 2021 all businesses
and sole traders trading with any EU country will have to have an EORI to export goods.
In addition we will need to hold the EORI numbers for all our customers in the EU to allow easy Importation and import declaration into the EU.
Currently we don't know if there is a field to store such information in Oracle.(Versions: RDBMS 12.1.0.2.0 ,Oracle Applications 12.2.4)
