Applies to:Oracle Order Management - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 12.2.8 version, Transaction Entry
Customer is trying to change the Shipping method at the header level -
processing constraint is fired:
"You are not allowed to change Shipping Method because: Released to Warehouse
- which is correct.
Customer hits Cancel and re-query the order(to load it again) in HTML sales
This time, the order shows the modified value in the Shipping Method(even
though customer didn't save due to constraint).
They load the same order in the sales order form and see that the Shipping
Method was not really changed(as it is normal) - please see also the file
with the screen shots.
Expect that Shipping Method is not changed when hitting Cancel button
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management, HTML User Interface responsibility
2. Navigate to Orders
3. Click Order Number to open order, and click Edit button
4. Modify Shipping Method
5. Hit Cancel and re-query the order(to load it again) in HTML sales order.
