In Release 12.2.10, Suppliers Home Page Displays All Suppliers Without Performing a Search, Causing a Performance Issue (Doc ID 2740791.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle iSupplier Portal, Release 12.2.10, when entering the main Suppliers page, there is a performance issue with the page loading.
The amount of time it takes for the page to fully load can range from 15 seconds to a few minutes or more, depending on the number of suppliers that are defined in the system.
Occasionally, the session will time out with the following browser message:

The issue only occurs in Release 12.2.10.  In Release 12.1.3 and also in Releases 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, the problem does not occur.

This page can't be displayed.


Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select any of the following responsibilities and navigations:
a. Payables > Suppliers > Entry
b. Purchasing > Supply Base > Suppliers
c. Supplier Management Administrator > Supplier Home

2. As the Suppliers home page opens, the performance issue occurs.  In the Supplier Search region, the search results are automatically loading, even though no query or search has yet been performed by the user.

As a workaround, the users can wait for the page to open fully.
