R12: AP: The Subledger Journal Entry Does Not Balance In The Entered Currency for Self Assessed Taxes (Doc ID 2743480.1)

Symptoms

Invoice will not account due to error:

Error 0: The subledger journal entry does not balance in the entered currency. Please verify the entered amounts on the journal entry lines.


A debit accounting line was created for the Self Assessed Rec Tax accounting class, but there was no credit to the Self Assessed Liability tax accounting class.

This happened for a custom subledger accounting method (SLAM), not the seeded SLAM.

 

 

Changes

This happened after an upgrade from 12.1.x to 12.2.x.
