When attempting to run ADADMIN Compile Flexfields process, the following error occurs:

Application Id: 140
  Short Name: OFA
  Name: Assets
Flexfield Name: $SRS$.FADEPR
  Title: $SRS$.FADEPR

Compilation aborted for current descriptive flexfield...

APP-FND-00784: Invalid reference FA_BOOK_TYPE in default value defined for segment Period

Please check the default values you have specified for your segments.
 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Log in to System Administrator responsibility

2) Navigate to Concurrent Requests

3) Select Submit a New Request

4) Run Compile All Flexfields

Obtain the Assistance of your DBA to:

1) Access back end via new window/terminal

2) Key Menu and select

     #2 Applmgr/Middle Tier Database Home

3) Key "adadmin"

4) From AD Administration Menu select applicable option

- Generate Application Files menu to generate applicable files
