WebAdi Errors for All Integrators after CPU Patch Oct20: java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 2748018.1)

Symptoms

Attempt to upload WebAdi spreadsheet for any integrator errors after Patch 31643022: ORACLE APPLICATIONS RELEASE 12.1: CPU PATCH FOR Oct 2020
It worked fine before patching.



ERROR on the page:
The upload process completed with errors. Press Close to return to the document and fix the errors.

Upload process did not complete.
Exception during parsing of upload document. java.lang.NullPointerException



ERROR in BNE Log:

 

STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Desktop Integrator Responsibility > Excel spreadsheet for WebAdi > fill in the details
2. Attempt to upload
3. See the error
