Service: When Downloading Service Request Attachments The File Name Is Always Fnd_Gfm (Doc ID 275064.1)

Symptoms

You expected that files that are downloaded from the Service Request form would have the same name as the file that is stored in the application. For example, If a file is named <filename>.doc in the attachment section of the Service Request form, it should also be named <filename>.doc when the file is selected to be downloaded. The download file name should be the same name as the file as it is stored in the SR.


However you discovered that files that are downloaded from the Service Request are always named fnd_gfm.[suffix of original filename], i.e. fnd_gfm.doc.

This name is confusing especially when the support engineer has to manage several files.
