Symptoms

On : 12.2.7 version, Cycle and Physical Counts

Error during cycle count entry to report missing serials in LPN when Cycle Count allows Unscheduled Entries

ERROR

Transaction failed An open request exists for this item and location. You may not create new requests for the same item and location until the existing request has been completed or rejected.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Maintain Onhand in LPN1 with 2 serials - SER1 and SER2
2. Define Cycle Count Entry with "Unscheduled Entries" checkbox checked
3. Generate Cycle Count Requests
4. From MSCA:
  Responsibility: Whse Mgmt
  Navigation: Warehousing > Inventory > Counting > Cycle Count > Normal
  Parent LPN: LPN1
  Enter Item
  Enter Qty : 1
  Enter SN : SER1
  Save
5. To report SER2 missing,
  Parent LPN: LPN1
  Enter Item
  Enter Qty : 0
  Enter SN : SER2 (Even though Qty is 0, SN is mandatory)
  Save.
  Error message is thrown.
