Modify Price List Attributes Does Not Work (Doc ID 2752838.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Pricing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Modify price list attributes does not work
After saving of the attribute the value is revered to the initial value

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE:
1. Open a price list
2. Click on "Pricing Attributes" button
3. Modify the "Value from" and save without tab out or without selecting the value from the LOV.
4. Save
5. Re-query price list nad the pricing attribute and the new value from point
3 is still not saved (the old value is displayed).

If tab out from the "Value from" field or open the LOV of "Value from" field in step 3, then the value is saved.
So this happens only if modifying the "Value from" and save without tab out or without selecting the value from the LOV.

Before applying Patch.18696348:R12.QP.B this happens for all cases.
After applying Patch.18696348:R12.QP.B this happens only for new price lists and new pricing attributes.
