Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Patch Application Issues

When attempting to compile flexfields in adadmin ,
the following error is seen onscreen and in the adadmin log.

ERROR

An error occurred while compiling application flexfields.
Continue as if it were successful [No] : No

Another file showed:

Number of successful descriptive flex compilations : 11585
Number of failed descriptive flex compilations : 1

Tip: To find failed flexfield compilations, please search for following string in this log file:
'Compilation aborted for current'

One of the .req worker log files showed the following:

Application Id: 555
  Short Name: GMF
  Name: Process Manufacturing Financials
Flexfield Name: $SRS$.GMFAACCP
  Title: $SRS$.GMFAACCP

Compilation aborted for current descriptive flexfield...

APP-FND-00784: Invalid reference XLA_SRS_CREATE_ACCOUNTING_FLAG in default value defined for segment ÇäåÙÇåä ÇäÇáÊÑÇÖê

Please check the default values you have specified for your segments.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select the option to Compile Flexfields when running adadmin

Due to this issue, users cannot compile all flexfields
