Putaway Transactions For Serialized Items Performance At Time Of Receipt (Doc ID 2755225.1)

Actual Behavior
Putaway transactions for serialized items is very slow

While Performing a Putaway transaction using form (receiving transactions), against a PO, the process is very slow.
It’s taking many hours to even populate ending serial number and then saving transactions.

Expected Behavior
Expect better performance generating serial numbers and completing receipt transaction.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate: Inventory > Transactions > Receiving > Receiving Transactions
2. Query receipt and enter range of serial numbers, which takes many hours to even populate ending serial number
3. Receiving 10 Million serial numbers for single item at a time
4. User is setup to run Receiving Transaction Processor in background and after committing, its taking few hours to finish Receiving Transaction Processor concurrent run.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete receipt is reasonable amount of time.
The form is taking many hours to complete range of serial numbers, and completing the receipt transaction.
