R12: AP: Process Tab Not Showing Pictorial Diagram - Shows Error: Java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 2755713.1)

Symptoms

The 'Process' tab from a Payables Responsibility does not show the expected pictorial flow diagram, but instead results in error:

  

  Your userarea applet has caused a runtime exception, the applet will be terminated to ensure continued functioning of our form.

   java.lang.NullPointerException
   at oracle.apps.fnd.wf.SessionManager.getUrlConnection(SessionManager)
     ...




Navigation:

   - Log in to a Payables Responsibility

   - From the Menu Navigator screen (that typically defaults with the 'Function' tab), select the 'Process' tab

   - Error results
