Symptoms


When attempting to Close the AR period, the following error occurs:

FRM-40735: WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM: trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06511.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Receivables Manager
2. Navigation: Control > Accounting > Open/Close Periods
3. Select from LOV > Ledger > Find
4. Change the Status for period X in to Closed > Save
