SSHR Transaction Review Page/Workflow Notification Error: ORA-01436: CONNECT BY LOOP ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_DYNAMIC_APPROVAL_WEB" (Doc ID 275819.1)

Symptoms

Error message is reported when submitting any SSHR Transaction. This Error message can either be on the Review Page or it can be in the Workflow Notification. It differs based on the Flag HR_DYNAMIC_APPROVAL_REQUIRED Flag.


Error Message on the Review Page as follows:

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20001: The
attribute ALLOW_REQUESTOR_APPROVAL probably has an invalid query string. The
attribute caused the following exception:
-1436
ORA-01436: CONNECT BY loop in user data
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_DYNAMIC_APPROVAL_WEB", line 7275
ORA-06512: at line 1

 

Error Message in Notification as follows (Note: if AME is used)

Error Message = ORA-20001: The attribute ALLOW_REQUESTOR_APPROVAL probably has an invalid query string.
