POR: Use Modernized User Interface For Non Catalog Request, Search OR Doesn't Seems To Work (Doc ID 2758933.1)

Symptoms

On Release: 12.2.9 version, Catalog Shopping // Non Catalog Request

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When Testing the System Profile: POR: Use Modernized User Interface for Non Catalog Request ->>

Non-Catalog Request ->> Category Search ->>
What category of goods or services do you need to buy? Click: "More Info" ->> It returns the following..
Keyword search will search across Category or Category Description or Commodity. You can enter more then one keyword separated by "OR" operator.
However if you search using the following %Black% or %Pens% ->> Returns Nothing.
Additional Testing shows %Paint% %Brush%, there is space between % and %, it works (it acts like 'AND')

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
User expect the Category Search functionality to work as the applications says it should with the "OR" separator

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. Sign on to Application
2. Select Responsibility: iProcurement
3. Navigation: iProcurement - Homepage ->> Shop Tab ->>
4. Click: Non-Catalog Request ->> Category Search ->>
5. What category of goods or services do you need to buy? Click: "More Info" ->> It returns the following..
6. Keyword search will search across Category or Category Description or Commodity. You can enter more then one keyword separated by "OR" operator.
7. However if you search using the following %Black% or %Pens% ->> Returns Nothing.
8. Additional Testing shows %Paint% %Brush%, there is space between % and %, it works (it acts like 'AND')
9. QUESTION: Why, does the application ("More Info") says you can you use the "OR" When we try %Paint% or %Brush%

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot understand why the application say you can use to "OR" in the Category Search, and yet it does not return any results.
