Symptoms
On : 12.2.7 version, Purge Issues in Payment
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR --------------- Custom hooks included in Purge standard package does not clear or remove the IBY and XLA payment data
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR ----------------------- Custom hooks included in Purge standard package should clear or remove the IBY and XLA payment data
STEPS ----------------------- The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 1. Run Purge Program after including custom hooks to delete IBY and XLA payment data
BUSINESS IMPACT ----------------------- The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot complete purge process successfully for IBY and XLA payment data.
Changes
Modified call to custom hook AP_CUSTOM_PURGE_PKG.PURGE_EXTERNAL_DATA prior to deletion of payment base tables in ppurgeb.pls file that is called in standard purge process ,this helped to resolve the issue.
