Getting Error When Trying to Transfer Notification Ownership in AP Invoice Approval Workflow. (Doc ID 2760445.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to reassign the approval notification, the following error occurs.

ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired

ORA-06512: at "APPS.WF_NOTIFICATION", line 4886

ORA-06512: at "APPS.WF_NOTIFICATION", line 4826

ORA-06512: at "APPS.WF_NOTIFICATION", line 4529

ORA-06512: at "APPS.WF_NOTIFICATION", line 4879

ORA-06512: at line 1

 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create invoice.
2. Goto Actions--> Initiate approval process.
3. Query the Workflow and try to reassign notification to new owner and above error will be observed.
