How to Upload a Specific Balance Dimension Through Initial Balance Upload (Doc ID 276121.1)

Goal

QUESTION 1

Initial Balance Uploading for PTD dimension also uploads other dimensions such as PTD, QTD, RUN, etc.


QUESTION 2

01-March is the balance initialization date. For the Tax balance with dimension YTD, then as per the balance upload behavior, all PTD, QTD, and YTD dimensions will be initialized.  This means that the element Tax will have a initial value of two months (Jan & Feb) in PTD balance of Tax element for the month of March, which is wrong. The outcome of this initial upload is that all subsequent payroll runs will have wrong results for Tax element.

Other dimensions such as PTD, QTD, etc have the same value as YTD.
