On : 12.2.8 version, Purchase Order

When attempting to update existing sourcing rules for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) using the Generate Sourcing Rules and ASL concurrent program, an error occurs and the following error is visible in the PO Interface Errors table (also visible in the Purchasing Interface Errors Report) :

Error: Cannot update sourcing rule. This sourcing rule has multiple assignments.


Steps to Reproduce :

1. Navigate to request submission form
2. Select Generate Sourcing Rules & ASLs from Blanket Purchase Agreements program
3. Enter program parameters
4. Submit program
5. Error is visible in errors interface table (PO_INTERFACE_ERRORS). The error is also visible in the output of the Purchasing Interface Errors Report

If the Sourcing Rule Assignments are reviewed from the Sourcing Rule Assignments form, it can be see that a single sourcing rule was assigned to all the items that exist on the BPA lines.
