Symptoms

Scheduler diagnostic tab returns the following error.

Result: Critical
Start Error; JMSAdminWrapper failed to start JMSWrapper, javax.naming.AuthenticationException: java.lang.NullPointerException at oracle.bi.security.provider.wls.authentication.dbms.SQLGroupDatabaseConnectionPool.checkinConnection(SQLGroupDatabaseConnectionPool.java:65)



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into BI Publisher
2. Navigate to Administration > Scheduler Diagnostics

The failure is also seen from the Scheduler Configuration -> JMS Test
