Goal
Is there an MSC Release hook for OPM Batches or FPOs? Customer wants to be able to default some values in the Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) on the batch header for planned orders released from ASCP to create batches/FPOs. ASCP offers the release hook that can be leveraged by customizing the procedure MSC_RELEASE_HOOK.EXTEND_RELEASE of the package MSC_REL_PLAN_PUB. However in the case of OPM, the release is a two-step process:
1. When the planned order (for make item) is released, MSC invokes 'Feedback - suggestions from APS to GMP' (GMP_APS_OUTPUT_PKG)
2. Creation of batch/FPO by the program 'Auto Release of Planning suggestions for APS', depending on the profile option GMP:Auto Implement APS Suggestions (Yes/No).
