An Additional Unwanted Record Populates in XLA_AC_BALANCES Table for Supporting References for Newly Opened Period Post-XLABAOPE Program (Doc ID 2763037.1)

Symptoms

The submission of concurrent program - Open Period Balances (XLABAOPE) is resulting in creation of an additional unwanted record in XLA_AC_BALANCES table for Supporting References for the newly opened GL period.

Steps performed:

A. GL Period Name - MAR-21 is in Future-Entry status

B. On running of Import Initial Balances for Supporting References (XLAACSUPREF) program for the GL period - FEB-21, a record will get populated in XLA_AC_BALANCES table for Supporting References for open/closed and future status periods i.e. a record gets populate for each GL Period - FEB-21 & MAR-21 in this table.

C. Open the General Ledger(GL) period - MAR-21

D. The user notice that an additional record for this newly opened GL period is populated in XLA_AC_BALANCES table on running of Open Period Balances (XLABAOPE) program.
