Symptoms

Running the CEJECRN: Bank Statement Cashflow Creation Program, ends in the following Errors in the Log File.

ERROR

Cause: FDPSTP failed due to ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "APPS.CE_JE_CREATION", line 1033
ORA-06512: at line 1

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1 - Populate the CE_STATEMENT_LINES.TRX_TEXT with up to 1000 characters.
2 - Run the CEJECRN: Bank Statement Cashflow Creation
3 - Note the Errors generated in the log file of the CEJECRN: Bank Statement Cashflow Creation Program

 

Changes

Applied the Patch: 31647326:R12.CE.C

The Patch extended the length of the CE_STATEMENT_LINES.TRX_TEXT to 1000.
