EGO Publish History Purge Program Not Purging Batches (Doc ID 2765980.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, MICC Transfer to TSC

When attempting to run the EGO Publish History Purge Program it is not purging batch data from ego_pub_bat_hdr_b table. The program completes Normal, but log file shows the following error occurs:

Error
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run EGO Publish History Purge program and find it does not purge batch data as one would expect
