FAH: Unable To Create Transaction Account Types In Transaction Account Builder Form (Doc ID 2769426.1)

Symptoms

 

For Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) implementations:

The Transaction Account Types page does not include a way to create a new Transaction Account Type.


Responsibility: [Enter valid FAH Responsibility defined]
Navigate: Setup > Financials > Accounting > Transaction Account Builder > Transaction Account Types

There is no 'NEW' button or method to create a new Transaction Account Type.

Clicking on 'Help' in the upper right corner of the Transaction Account Builder form, the following message is displayed:

     Note: Transaction account types must be defined for your applications during Financial Services Accounting Hub implementation.
     Transaction Account Types for Oracle applications are seeded and you cannot create new or modify existing transaction account type.
