Creating a Modification the Change In Fund Value is Incorrect at Creation then Adjusts to Correct Amount (Doc ID 2770890.1)

Symptoms

When first creating a modification (prior to first save) the Total Change in Fund Value is showing an unusual non-zero number. It is only temporary, it goes away and shows correctly as soon as the modification is saved.

This causes confusion for the users and they are concerned they are making unintended changes via their modification.


Steps to Recreate the issue

 

  1. Create a Modification from any Award 
  2. Alter a line to make a value difference (e.g. $100)
  3. Save the Line
  4. View Change in fund value now-amount is very large and incorrect
