When Attempting to Terminate Employee, ORA-01403 no data found Error Occurs (Doc ID 2773932.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to terminate employee with the Final Process Date, the following error occurs.

FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01403.

  PYUPIP Trace shows the error below.

In hrentmnt.cache_element_entry

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager
  2.  Go to Terminate form
    (N) People > Enter and Maintain > (B) Others > End employment
  3. Enter the termination details and save
  4. Error occurs
