Symptoms
Oracle Analytics Publisher 5.5.0 version.
Scheduler Configuration 'Test Connection' button for database connection fails with the following error.
ERROR
-----------------------
"Could not establish connection".
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Analytics Publisher.
2. Click on Administration link.
3. Click Scheduler Configuration link.
4. Click 'Test Connection' button of 'Database Connection' section.
Above mentioned error appears.
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Unable to test the database connection for scheduler.
This impacts troubleshooting the scheduler configuration.
It does not impact the functionality of scheduling Business reports jobs.
