On : 12.1 HRMS RUP13 version, Person / Assignment Issues

Self Service Worker status change errors after employees moved to new Payroll for new hire record

Unable to enter self service status change record after employee changes Payroll.
 

Error
HR_7975_ASG_INV_FUTURE_ASA
There must not be any future assignment actions arising after the change effective date.


Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Employee coming from one payroll which is being merged with the main payroll for the company.
2. For several elements - rather than ending the elements
     - someone changed the payroll_id manually - to see if it would allow them to route over to the new payroll.
     - Instead they are causing the above error when attempting to make any changes on the assignment.
