'Change Ownership' Menu Option Is Greyed Out On Servce Order/Service Request (Doc ID 2778491.1)

On : 12.2.8 version, Repair Order Management

When attempting to create a service order for an item from a different customer, the following error occurs:

The Service Request customer() does not have any Installed Base associations with this item instance (12009).
Please change the ownership via the Tools menu or choose another instance.

But the Tools/Change Ownership menu option is greyed out.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in with Depot Repair Engineer responsibility.
  2. Open Service Order form.
  3. Enter a new service order as follows:
    - in Service Request header enter customer and item information
  4. Save before entering the information for the service order.
