Asset and Work Order Advanced Search Results in Error in R12.2 (Doc ID 2779724.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to search for work orders using the Advanced Search method, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Please fill in search criteria values in at least one of the following fields: Asset Number, Asset Group, Asset Category, Asset Owning Department, Work Order, Work Order Description ..... etc.
Note that the search criteria condition should not be "contains", "ends with" or "is not" for at least one of the listed fields.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Maintenance Super User.
2. Click on Work Orders tab.
3. Go to Advanced Search.
4. In the field 'Asset Full Description' enter desired value 'xxxxxx'.
5. Click Go and receive the error.
