The Need-By-Date On Shopping Cart PopUp Screen Is in Future Ahead Of The Expected Date
(Doc ID 2782908.1)
Last updated on JUNE 09, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.10 version, Requisition Creation
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Need-By-Date field on the Shopping Cart PopUp Screen is ahead of the expected date when creating requisitions.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect need-by date to be per the expected date. As documented per the iProcurement User Guide, the method to calculate the default Need-by Date is :
System Date + Lead Time (if any) + Offset Value.
If there is no lead time available for the item, then the calculation is System date + Offset Value. Offset Value is specified in the Need-by Date Offset field in the iProcurment Preferences.
There wont be any way to change how need-by date is calculated in iProcurement, it is documented as such and is coded that way
But in this case, the Need-By Date is too far in the future
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. iProcurement > Shop > Home > Search inventory for disenfectant
2. Add to Shopping Cart
3. Click View Cart and Checkout
4. Shopping Cart displays with field "When do you need these items" as 25-May-2021 and it is expected instead to be May 1st.
