After upgrade to 12.2.10. Posting: Single Ledger (GLPPOS) ends with PERF0005: Oracle error detected in glpdit() - ORA-01031: insufficient privileges (Doc ID 2784688.1)

Symptoms

Immediately after upgrade to 12.2.10, when the user attempts to post journal batches using Posting:  Single Ledger, it will fail with the following message in the log file:

Steps to reproduce:

An upgrade must have immediately preceded this action.  This will fail on first test of the Journal Posting process after an upgrade completes.

1) Sign in with a responsibility that has posting enabled, such as General Ledger Super User.

2)  Use the menu path:  Journals : Post

3)  Query up the batch you wish to post.

4)  Select the batch by enabling the check box.

5)  Choose the Post button.

After process fails, review log file.

Changes

 Upgraded to 12.2.10 from an earlier version such as 12.1.3.
