Symptoms
On : 12.2.6 version, Pricing Engine
When attempting to bulk import multiple price list lines 5 of the
price list lines are not interfacing and program is completing in Error.
ERROR in comparing the Header and Line start Dates (INTERFACE)
UNEXPECTED ERROR IN QP_BULK_UTIL.UPDATE_LINE:ORA-00001: unique constraint
(QP.QP_LIST_LINES_U1) violated
UNEXCPECTED ERROR IN PROCESS_LINE:User-Defined Exception
Unexpected error
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Customer is trying Update the existing price list line by end dating it and
creating the new price list line by inserting the data in QP Interface tables
and submitting the QP: Bulk Import of Price List.
1. Populate the QP Interface tables
2. Navigate to: Reports as Oracle Pricing Manager responsibility
3. Run QP: Bulk Import of Price List
4. Review the log file for errors. Observe what was updated in the application.
WHAT DOES WORK?
When un-interfaced records are submitted alone they are interfacing successfully.
