Applicant Hire And Rehire Back Button Errors Java.Lang.Null PointerException (Doc ID 2788882.1)

Symptoms

On Test and Prod : 12.2.9 version, Hire, CWK Placement, Applicant  Hire

When attempting to use the back button when hiring an applicant
the following error occurs.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to US Super HRMS Manager Responsibility -> People -> Enter and Maintain
2. Create an Applicant
3. Click on Address button on People Form to Enter Address
4. Click on Others -> Application and create an Application (set to accepted)
5. Navigate to Manager Self Service -> Applicant Hire and Rehire
6. Pull up the applicant, select the applicant record and click on Hire button
7. In Applicant Hire and Rehire: Person Details Page, click on Next Button
8. In Applicant Hire and Rehire: Assignment Page, click on Back button. > error occurs
