Web ADI - Oracle Ribbon Menu Not Appearing in Excel Templates After Applying Microsoft Patches (Doc ID 2790466.1)

Symptoms

After applying Microsoft patches Web ADI templates are being created but without the Oracle Ribbon menu
seen in the Excel worksheet. This was working properly prior to the application of these patches.

The Oracle Ribbon menu is not present and also Oracle is not seen in the Add In menu of Excel.
This is true for all webadi templates, all users.

The following Error is seen on screen when creating the document:

Warning

To use the Oracle Ribbon Menu, recreate the document. Alternatively,
use the equivalent functionality available from the AddIns > Oracle menu.


Profile BNE: Enable OOXML Standard is set to No typically.

Steps to recreate this issue:
1) Logged into Desktop Integrator responsibility.
2) Create document
3) Created document in Excel is missing the Oracle Ribbon Menu in Excel.


Changes

Microsoft patches have update the desktop.
