iStore And Quoting Error "IPL: PRICE WAS NOT FOUND ON PRICE LIST" or ASO_OA_ROSETTA_CALL_ERROR For Promotional Good (PRG) Item Setup with Zero Price (Doc ID 2793521.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9

 iStore and Quoting give a Pricing IPL Error when choose Add To Cart button or add product in a Quote for an item that has a free promotional good (PRG) item -

If the GET ITEM is setup with a price other than zero (free), then it gets added without the error.

iStore -

Error
IPL: Price was not found on price list <price list name> for this item <item name> and uom <unit of measure>.

 

 

Quoting Forms UI -

FRM – 40375: WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD trigger raised unhandled exception

 

HTML Quoting -

Message not found. Application: ASO, Message Name: ASO_OA_ROSETTA_CALL_ERROR.
Tokens: APINAME = AsoQuotePub.updateQuote;

 


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Login to iStore storefront as the IBE_CUSTOMER responsibility
Choose the Add To Cart button for an item in the catalog that has a free PRG item

OR

Login as the Quoting Sales Manager (Forms Quoting) responsibility
Quote Lines tab
Try to add item that has a free PRG item

OR

Login as the Quoting User (HTML Quoting) responsibility
Choose Add Product and select item that has a free PRG item
Add Product
