Value XXX For The Flexfield Segment Department Does Not Exist In The Value Set (Doc ID 2793724.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to enter the value for the department for a vacancy from  one particular responsibility
the following error occurs.

Same value worked fine when entered from other responsibility

ERROR

Error:
Value XXX for the flexfield segment Department does not exist in the value set XXX_DEPARTMENT.

Error:
The default value XXX  is invalid for the Department segment. Your default value will be ignored. Please inform your system administrator that: Add the value XXX to the value set for segment Department, or choose another default value in the Key Flexfield Segments form or Descriptive Flexfield Segments form. Use the Edit Concurrent Program or Define Report Set form for Standard Report Submission report defaults.



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to application using iRecruitment responsibility

2. Navigate to iRecruitment Home > Vacancies

3. Enter the value "XXX" for department

4. Error is thrown
