Enhancement Request to Not Require Rebooking an RLOC Contract After an Unscheduled Principal Paydown is Processed (Doc ID 2793875.1)

Last updated on JULY 22, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After applying an Unscheduled Principal Paydown on a contract, the user must rebook the contract in order for the system to recognize the Unscheduled Principal Paydown stream and update the principal balance.

If this rebook is not done, the system will eventually make an adjustment to the contract by opening a random credit memo in a future month. There is no good way to reconcile what these credit memos are for.

This Enhancement Request is asking for a solution that will cause the system to recognize an Unscheduled Principal Paydown once it has been paid by the customer without having to rebook the contract.
