Symptoms
In the latest the versions of browsers, blank pages are still being opened even after taking the necessary actions.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Log in to application from edge or chrome browser.
2. After the timeout expired, re-login to application as prompted.
3. Now we can see the blank page is left open and need to manually close it.
Changes
Applied all the JWS patches and implemented the java web start.
