Will purging the records in HZ_DQM_SYNC_INTERFACE Table affect the DQM implementation in future (Doc ID 279735.1)

Symptoms

Customer is currently not using DQM functionality but the HZ_DQM_SYNC_INTERFACE table continues to grow in size.

Would  truncating/deleting the records in table HZ_DQM_SYNC_INTERFACE  have any impact on the implementation of DQM in future?

Does the data in HZ_DQM_SYNC_INTERFACE table need to be backed up if DQM is to be implemented in the future?
