When try to Save or Submit Timecards Error "Unable to determine a time period for date worked" Even the Payroll Period Exists for the Timecard Period (Doc ID 2799535.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Oracle Time and Labor Rules


When trying to save or submit a timecard ,getting the following error:


ERROR

The OTLR error is: Unable to determine a time period for date worked of: 07-JUN-2021 Payroll: .

The issue can be  reproduced at will with the following steps:

 Log into responsibility: Self Service Time
- Click on create timecard
- Select the timecard period for entry

- Confirmed the payroll period exists for the period user is trying to enter time for but still errors
