Symptoms

When attempting to upload new assets to Oracle Fixed Assets module using 'Fixed Assets - Additions' WebADI Worksheet, the following error occurs.

The upload process has completed with the following status:
1 row(s) failed validation, and 0 row(s) successfully uploaded.

Unable to set default value for required column.. Exception oracle.apps.bne.exception.Bneinvalidexception:
Sequence &DEFALUT_VALUE for the Mass Addition ID default value is invalid. Occurred trying to map column: Mass Addition ID.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Logon to 'Fixed Assets Integrator' responsibility.

2. Open 'Add Assets' Worksheet by selecting from LOV.  Navigation: Additions.

3. Click CREATE button.

4. 'Fixed Assets - Additions' Worksheet will open in Excel.

5. Populate Worksheet with asset addition data.

6. Upload data to Oracle Fixed Assets. Navigation: Add-ins > Oracle > Upload.

Window will open with error message:
