How Can One Enter or Update Missing Quantity in the Transact Move Order Lines Form INVTOTRX (Doc ID 280129.1)

How can one enter missing quantity in the transact move order lines screen?

Identify a quantity of items that was shorted on a move order.
A quantity is missing from transaction move order line
which relates to a shortage.
The missing quantity field will not highlight to put the quantity in.

You wish to split the missing quantity by using the missing quantity Split Allocation functionality.

INVTOTRX 11.5.207 or higher

1. Go to Inventory > Move Orders > Move Order
Create and approve a move order
Move Order Type is Move Order Requisition (move Order type id = 1)
Move order quantity is 10.

2. Go to Inventory > Move Orders > Transact Move Orders
Query the move order
See 10 requested.
Allocate the move order.
Go to move order lines
See 10 requested, 10 allocated.
Change the allocated quantity to 5.
Want to enter a missing quantity
The field is gray and not enterable.

Note: Same behavior would occur when trying to change the Missing Quantity column value from Backorder to Split Allocation,  Cycle Count or Null
