Goal

On : 12.2.9 version, Item Issues

Item attributes not functioning as expected at master level.

Why does the system allow me to create an item at master level, and set serial control to predefined and allow me to save at this point without defining a starting prefix? 

Steps:
Inventory responsibility > Item > Master Item
Create new item, select inventory tab
Select Serial generation as predefined
