Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Contracts Billing/Termination

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When a serial is returned to Inventory through RMA, the contract which is in Hold status is not terminated.
IB transaction ends in error: OKC_CONTRACTS_INVALID_VALUE (COL_NAME=Return not allowed. Contract XXX is in QA_HOLD status)


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Manual termination is allowed for Hold status irrespective of Eligible for Invoicing flag. So Contracts on Hold status should be allowed to be terminated from RMA also.

Restrictions for Terminating a Contract

Be aware of the following restrictions relating to the contract status. If the contract status is:
QA Hold: You cannot perform a termination.
Hold: You can perform a termination irrespective of the status and operation setting, Eligible for Invoicing.
All Other Statuses: You cannot perform a termination if the status and operation setting, Eligible for Invoicing, is not enabled.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using Order Management Super User responsibility, Return serial through RMA.
2. Interface transaction to IB.
3. Transaction is in error if contract is in HOLD status.
