Can Hours Be Used For Physical Percent Complete For Project Billing? (Doc ID 2808143.1)

Evaluating using Physical % Complete, but are only using Project Costing and Billing and not Project Management or Project Portfolio Management.

Questions:

1-Is the Physical % Complete form only updated manually or is there an seeded extensions to derive that based on metrics like hours?
2-Similar to the Cost/Cost based on Actual and Budgeted $'s, would like to budget hours and calculate % Complete based on actual labor hours/Budgeted Hours in the Approved Cost Budget entry forms and then update the Percent Complete screen (or Physical Percent complete at the top task level).  Or is there another way to do essentially Cost/Cost % Complete, but using Actual Hours/Budgeted hours?
